The Holy Place of the Tabernacles of the Most High

Psalm 46:4

Day 164 – Year in the Bible – Psalm 46-50

______

PSALM 46 – GOD IS IN THE MIDST OF HER

She Shall Not Be Moved
There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High. God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early. – Psalm 46:4-5

He Maketh Wars to Cease Unto the End of the Earth
Come, behold the works of the LORD, What desolations he hath made in the earth. He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; He breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; He burneth the chariot in the fire. Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth. – Psalm 46:8-10

PSALM 47 – HE SHALL CHOOSE

My Inheritance is His Choice
He shall choose our inheritance for us, the excellency of Jacob whom he loved. Selah
.- Psalm 47:4

Jacob’s inheritance was that during shakings (famine in the world), Jacob, who God loved, was spared from death and settled in Egypt’s best part (Goshen). So is our portion as God’s children.

PSALM 48 – THIS GOD IS OUR GOD FOREVER AND EVER

Tell the Generation Following
Let mount Zion rejoice, let the daughters of Judah be glad, because of thy judgments. Walk about Zion, and go round about her: tell the towers thereof. Mark ye well her bulwarks, consider her palaces; that ye may tell it to the generation following. For this God is our God for ever and ever: he will be our guide even unto death. –
 Psalms 48:11-14

I am so thankful as I approach this day that God is with me to guide me through it. He is here no matter what is in store. Our Father knows and has planned out my course, just as He did for His Children of Israel as He led them through the wilderness toward the Promised Land. Even in their wanderings, He was there! He is still here today, and as our forefathers have done, we are to tell the next generation of all that God has done for us. God uses our testimonies to encourage and guide us.

PSALM 50 – WHOSO OFFERETH PRAISE GLORIFIETH ME

To Him that Ordereth His Conversation Aright
Whoso offereth praise glorifieth me: And to him that ordereth his conversation aright will I shew the salvation of God. – Psalm 50:23
